Coatex has received the 2014 Ringier Coatings Technology Innovation Award in the additives category. The award recognizes the company's Bumper Technology™ and the dispersant Coadis™ BR 85. Bumper Technology is a flexible technology platform for water-based paints, while the Coadis BR 85 was engineered for efficiency in TiO2 particle dispersion.

The Ringier awards are given annually to a selection of innovative products, technologies, or processes. Regarded as one of the most prestigious awards in China's coatings industry, they recognize companies for their contribution to technical innovation, improved productivity, economic efficiency, and market opportunity creation in the Chinese industry.
